Caparol Spray Plaster BaseCoat is a pre-mix acrylic-copolymer based, high-build, all-purpose filler/skim coat, coarse, which is suitable for efficient level and rectify irregularities. Caparol Spray Plaster BaseCoat it’s recommended to use in all areas which requiring a coat thickness by max. 5 mm. For thickness up to 10 mm the material should be applied with multiple layers. It is also suitable as a surfacer to achieve semi-smooth plaster and concrete surfaces. Surfaces leveled with Caparol Spray Plaster BaseCoat can be coated, when fully cured/dried, with Caparol Spray Plaster MidCoat and/or Caparol Spray Plaster FinishCoat to achieve levelled dense surface for smooth coatings, or directly with suitable textured Caparol emulsion and latex paints or acrylic enamels, may be without previous priming. Caparol Spray Plaster BaseCoat is not suitable to be use on EIFS/ETICS. Maximum coating/layer thickness per work step: 5 mm

Recommended Use

Without priming coat suitable for:
- Cement plastered walls and ceilings
- Hollow concrete blocks, concrete and precast concrete
- Rendered fair-faced and levelled brick masonry

With necessary priming coat suitable for:
- ACC/cellular concrete
- Sandwich-type plasterboards
- Elements of sand-lime blocks
- Stable existing coatings
- Fibrous cement sheets

Not suitable for damp locations or on uncovered and open exterior surface areas, e.g. facades!
For damp locations it’s recommended to use Capatect ArmaReno 700 or other suitable mineral based plaster/filler.
For open exterior surface areas we recommend to us CapaFilex or suitable mineral based plaster/filler.
